10th Neuro in your Practice »
My husband was diagnosed with Dystonia-Parkinson also known as DYT3 or Lubag, He had a Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery last Jan. 2011 at Stanford Hospital here in US where we currently lived .He is in good condition or relief due to the treatment of DBS. My question is, if we plan to go back in the Philippines to live. Do you have any care for him or to services on this kind disease?
DYT3 or XDP cases are from the Philippines. Several specialists for XDP are also here, and they are managing patients who also had DBS. You can consult with Dr Jamora, our movement disorder specialist in PGH. He is also affiliated in ST Luke’s and Cardinal Santos.
